The Charm of Classic Newborn, Family and Pet Photography in Kent

As I have realised that I had not blogged for so long I have so many I want to write and so many shoots I want to share.  In this blog I wanted to encapsulate the simplicity, classic and timeless beauty of not only your newborns baby in those early days but also what this can look like when we include the siblings, mum and dad and even your dog.

Although I did shoot props at this shoot I am going to forgo those images in this blog as I want to highlight  these portraits where the baby and the family take centre stage and it has a very simple and natural feel.  I have done the majority of this in B&W too as I think it highlights the timelessness , minimalism of these images and tells a story of innocence and love, without embellishments.

It was the children that convinced the mum and dad to have a newborn shoot when this little guy came along.  We split the shoot into 2 sessions as the older children were at school during the week and photographed the baby during the week while the were at school and then did a family shoot with included their very handsome and proud dog on the Saturday morning. These images were exactly what she had wanted and we captured a collection for them to cherish over the years and help remember this very special stage that only lasts a few weeks.
