Top 5 tips for getting your baby to sleep ready for their photoshoot.

Tip #01- Make sure they are well rested and fed.

If your baby is tired, they will be more likely to sleep during the session. Feeding them before you leave for the shoot can also help make sure that they are satisfied when it comes time to take those long naps on their own in between shots!

Tip #02 - Make sure they are warm and cosy .

Every parent knows that their little one is happiest when they are wearing a snuggly onesie or some sort of cozy. The same holds true for photoshoots! Keeping the baby in a warm environment will help them drift off into sleep much more easily, and be able to stay asleep during those short breaks between shots.

Tip #3 - A calm and quiet environment is best.

A loud and busy environment can be hard for babies to sleep in, or even just sit patiently during a shoot! Ensuring that the surrounding area is as peaceful and quiet as possible will make it easier to get those perfect shots of your precious little one sleeping peacefully on their own terms - without any need for prodding from you!

Tip #4 - If they have a regular sleep pattern , try to time the photoshoot around that.

If you know your baby's feed-to-sleep routine, then it can be a helpful tool for timing those perfect shots! If they sleep better at night, take them out after breakfast and before lunch; if afternoon naps are more their speed, then plan on getting some amazing images.

Tip #5 - Be relaxed yourself, your baby can sense your tension.

It's important to take care of yourself and relax as much as you can before the shoot - a tired or anxious parent will make it difficult for their baby!
