The  40 over 40 portrait session is an invitation for women in their 40's, 50's 60's & beyond to invest in self-love and steal the spotlight - with the best photo experience of your life.

Introducing the 40 Over 40 Campaign – Launching March 2024!

Over the next 18 months, I will be photographing 40 incredible women in their 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and beyond. This campaign is about celebrating strength, beauty, and wisdom—giving everyday women an unforgettable, magazine-style photoshoot experience that allows them to see themselves the way their loved ones already do.

Every woman has a unique story, and every session will be as individual as you are.

What’s Included in Your Session?

Pre-Session Consultation – We’ll discuss outfit ideas, styling, makeup, and how you’d love to be photographed.

Professional Hair & Makeup – A chance to be pampered and feel fabulous! Why not plan a girls’ night out or a date night afterward? You’ll look amazing!

Magazine-Style Photoshoot – A fully guided session with 3-4 outfit changes. Want a corporate headshot as well? I can include that, too!

One Complimentary Fine Art Print – A beautifully matted 7”x9” print of your choice, fully edited and retouched.

Reveal & Ordering Session – View your stunning portraits in person or online and choose your complimentary print. If you fall in love with more, you’ll have the option to purchase additional images.

Meet Sue Greetham

For over 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of capturing life’s most meaningful moments—photographing everything from commercial campaigns to weddings, families, and newborns. As I’ve grown older and my son can fend for himself, I am embracing a new chapter in my life. This involves self discovery and a deepening admiration for the lives and roles of mature woman.

I’ve witnessed first hand how self-doubt can cloud the way we see ourselves, creating a disconnect with how the world perceives us. In early 2024, I was the subject of a similar campaign and found it very powerful and in many ways quite a healing process — so much so, that I knew I had to bring this opportunity to give other women this amazing experience!

This isn’t just about beautiful photographs of you: it’s about stepping out of your comfort zone; it can be about healing; it can be about capturing your body before it undergoes a major or suble change; it can be about celebrating aging and the confidence that comes with truly being at home in our own skin.

1.  CONSULTATION:
WARDROBE, STYLING & PLANNING

This experience is uniquely designed just for you! Whether you prefer a casual vibe, full-on glamour, soft and sexy, bold and dramatic, or something fun, we’ll bring your vision to life. Before your session, we’ll meet for a wardrobe consultation to discuss styling, outfit choices, and how to create the looks you love.

2. PROFESSIONAL MAKEOVER

When was the last time you treated yourself to a professional makeover? This is your time to relax, be pampered, and to step into the spotlight! Whether you prefer a natural, polished look or a full-glam transformation, my make up artist will ensure you feel confident and absolutely fabulous.

3. YOUR PHOTOSHOOT

No need to worry if you feel you’re not photogenic or have little experience in front of the camera—I’ve got you! I will guide, direct, and pose you every step of the way to ensure you look relaxed, confident, and absolutely beautiful. All you have to do is enjoy the experience!

4. THE REVEAL

1-2 weeks after your photoshoot, I will invite you back to the studio for your exclusive reveal session. This is your special moment to see your stunning portraits for the first time! You’ll have the opportunity to review, select, and order your favorite images. Your complimentary photo is yours to keep, and if you fall in love with more, you can purchase the ones that truly speak to you!

FAQ’S

  • The ups and downs of weight gain & loss as well as self criticism can sometimes be so exhausting and harsh.
    Tomorrow isn’t promised. It’s time to embrace your worth, right now, at this age, this stage, and at this weight.

    Your weight is the least interesting thing about you and it should not define you or hold you back; your spirit, your smile, your energy is what really matters and celebrating exactly who you are here and now is what’s important. I’m here to help you take those first steps toward feeling confident and enjoying who you are, inside and out.

  • During our pre-shoot consultation we will go through the outfits for the shoot and the look and feel you are wanting to achieve. You will generally select 3 to 4 outfits to wear on the day, depending on what you are wanting, some images may not include any clothing at all!

  • The 40 OVER 40 photo shoot experience is £249; this includes the following:

    • Consultation.

    • Professional Multi - Outfit photoshoot.

    • Professional Makeup + Hair.

    • Reveal and ordering session.

    • One Complimentary 6×8’ Fine Art Print

    • Feature in My Exclusive 40 Over 40 Magazine

    Additional images are available to purchase with packages starting at £350.00; frames and album are also available

  • I will start shooting the campaign in March 2025, slots have already been filled. Contact me via my contact form asap to get started and participate and let me know what is the best time of day to contact you as I will give you a ring within several days of me receiving the form.

  • The consultation is via Teams or Zoom and is usually 20 to 30 minutes long.

    The photos shoots including hair & makeup is 4 hours long. We usually start these at 09:30 am.

    The reveal and ordering appointment - is when you come back to my studio 2 to 3 weeks after the photoshoot (if you live further away it can be done by Microsoft Teams) and go through all your beautiful portraits. That's where you will choose your complimentary image and any other images that you love. This usually take between 1-2 hours.

  • The shoot takes place in my home studio in Orpington, Kent.

  • The shoots generally take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and start at 09:30.

    I can occasionally accommodate a Reveal/ Ordering appointment on a Saturday morning..

    The shoots only take place during the week, this is a special occasion, take the day off work and enjoy your time with me.
